On August 19th Master Jeff Hurben hosted a Phoenix Group Black Belt test in Alaska.  Congratulations to Ms.  Elly Keener, Ms. Klara Gengler, and Mr. Armor Anderson on their promotions to 3rd Degree Black Belt.  It is a significant step on the Taekwon-Do journey.  Congratulations also goes out to Ms. Cassie Anderson on her promotion to 2nd Degree Black Belt and to Travis Lewis, Edward Reuther, and Rachael Reuther on their promotions to 1st Degree.  You are all well on your way and it is inspiring to see you all succeed in your endeavors.  The test was relatively small but the quality was superb.

On Sunday, August 20, 2023 Solstice Taekwon-Do club hosted a Breaking Seminar at Midnight Sun Martial Arts Academy.  Master William Howard VIII led the seminar.  There were just over 30 participants.  Everyone learned alot.  They all had a good workout and a fun time.
