It is with a heavy heart that we learn of  the passing of Grand Master Nicholls' mother.  Our most sincere condolences go out Grand Master Nicholls, his children, and grandchildren on the passing of his mother, Mrs. Barbara Nicholls, 18/8/30 - 4/10/2023.

Barbara was very involved in Taekwon-Do as far back as 1973, when the UKTA organisation held meetings at the venue where her son, GM Nicholls trained, doing the teas coffees and sandwiches for the AGM and national events. At the 2007 World Championships in Birmingham, she ran all the umpire refreshments and continued assisting up to the 2016 Brighton World Championships, looking after her great grandchildren allowing her grandchildren to commit their time to the event: administration, setting up and competing. 

She was a woman committed to helping and assisting others.
