The Phoenix Group will be hosting an ITF Master Class for all ranks white belt through IX Dan black belt on May3rd.
On May 3, 2025 we will be hosting an ITF Master Class in Denver Colorado. The class will be held at the Denver Airport Marriott at Gateway Park, 16455 E 40th Circle, Aurora, CO 80011. The telephone number for the hotel is 720-659-3805. The class will be taught by our very own ITF Ambassador Suzan Crochet. The cost of the class is $60.
All participants will receive an ITF Master Class certificate. We anticipate that everyone who registers for the event on or before April 15 will receive their certificate at the completion of the course. Those who register after April 15 will receive their certificates at a later date.
The hotel also offers a free hotel shuttle to and from Denver International Airport. It is within walking distance of numerous restaurants and nightlife attractions and just 13 miles from downtown Denver. You can get a discounted rate of $149 per night if you book your hotel reservation for the course by March 15. We are trying to get the date extended. Master Classes are an important part of your Taekwon-Do journey. They are designed to dig deeper into the foundational skills of the art and to ensure all ITF practitioners are trained in the knowledge and expertise of the ITF. The class is open to all ranks, white belt through IX Dan black belt. It is a 4 hour class so students need to have the attention span and discipline to be able to stay engaged for that length of time. It is strongly recommended that all persons testing for any level of black belt have at least one Master Class and/or International Instructor Course prior to testing.
There will be a black belt testing for red belts and above after the course. More information on the testing will be coming out later. All students red belt and above who are eligible to test are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity. It will give you the opportunity to promote and will get a class under your belt to meet the recommendations of the ITF. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Karen Kramer and Mrs. Diana Hansen for volunteering to host this event for us and for all of the work they are putting in to make this happen.
