Mr. Kok Chuan Tiew has run a school in Witchita, Kansas since 2006. It is his goal to introduce and promote ITF Taekwon-Do to the people in Wichita, Kansas. His school became known as National TaeKwon-Do Wichita in 2014.
Mr. Tiew started practicing ITF Taekwon-Do in Malaysia in 1996, and received his 1st and 2nd degree black belt in 2000 and 2003 respectively. In 2004, he moved from Malaysia to the United States and studied at Wichita State University. He continued to train independently while he was in college. During that time, he was also able to compete in a number of local, state and national level tournaments. He received his 3rd Degree black belt in ITF Taekwon-Do when he returned to Malaysia for a short period of time in July of 2009. He joined National TaeKwon-Do in year 2014, and now he continues to train under Master Crochet. He received his 4th degree black belt in 2015.
